Done-for-you Shopify stores

A store built to a standard, not a guess.

Most Shopify builds skip the brief, the strategy, and the QA pass — and it costs sales for months before anyone notices. Mine doesn't. Every store goes through all five before it ships.

Why most builds disappoint

The build wasn't the problem. The process was.

Most Shopify stores fail not because the builder was lazy — but because there was no documented process behind the work.

No brief, so the wrong store gets built

Without a proper brief, the builder fills gaps with guesses. You end up with a store built for the wrong customer, the wrong product at the front, and a homepage that doesn't say what you sell.

No strategy, so nothing's in the right order

Which product is the hero? What's the email incentive? Without a strategy these decisions get made by instinct — usually wrong — and unravelling them later costs money.

No QA, so problems ship live

Broken checkout. Wrong payment methods. Legal pages missing. SEO titles blank. Without a formal QA pass these don't get caught until they quietly kill conversions for months.

No record of what was built or why

A store with no documentation is a store you can't improve. You don't know what was decided, what was skipped, or where to start when the business grows.

What Profit Pilots builds

Shopify stores with the structure behind them.

Two build types. Both go through the same five-stage process. Both ship with documentation.

Ecommerce

Product stores that convert

Physical or digital products. Benchmarked homepage, product pages with selling copy, collections, UK legal pages, payments, email capture, tested checkout — built for your specific product and customer.

Service businesses

Lead sites that get enquiries

Landscaping, carpet cleaning, trades — businesses that need a site that turns visitors into calls and form fills. Local SEO foundations included as standard.

Existing stores

Rebuilds and redesigns

If your store isn't performing, we diagnose what's wrong, agree a strategy, and rebuild the parts that need it. Same process, same QA pass, same documentation. Not a surface refresh.

How a Profit Pilots build works

Five stages. All documented. No guesswork.

Every build runs the same five-stage loop. You see the output of each stage before the next one starts.

01

Brief

A structured brief covering your business, customers, products, goals, and what success looks like. This becomes the single source of truth for every decision that follows. Nothing moves until the brief is approved.

Approved before Stage 2
02

Strategy

Which products play which role. How the store is structured. What the homepage leads with. What the email incentive is. How local SEO is approached. Decisions made before a pixel is touched.

Approved before Stage 3
03

Build

Homepage, product or service pages, collections, navigation, legal pages, payments, email flows, SEO foundations. Every section benchmarked against a documented Gold Standard — not a filled-in theme.

Built to documented standard
04

QA

A formal quality check before anything ships. Checkout, payments, legal pages, mobile layout, page speed, email flows, SEO meta — all audited. Every issue severity-tagged. The store doesn't launch until it clears.

Cleared before launch
05

Launch

Domain connected, DNS live, analytics installed, email flows active. You receive the store plus the brief, strategy document, and QA report. A full record of what was built and why — yours to keep.

Who builds it

A real person with a documented process behind them.

I'm not an agency and I'm not the £29-store crowd. Every build runs through the same structured operating system — brief to strategy to build to QA to launch — with documented standards at every stage. That's what separates a store that actually works from one that just exists.

I taught myself to build Shopify stores by actually doing it, with real money on the line. I know where the traps are, the settings people forget, and the details that make a store look like a real business rather than a hobby project.

Every store I build is one I'd be happy to put my name to. That's the whole standard.

Questions

The things people usually ask.

Do I need to be technical?
Not at all. You send your products, brand details, and answers to a short brief. I handle every technical part — you don't touch the back end unless you want to.
How long does a build take?
The timeline depends on the scope and how quickly the brief is approved. I'll give you a realistic timeframe at the start of the project — the clock starts from when everything I need is confirmed, not from when you enquire.
What do you need from me?
Your logo, product information and photos, and a short brief we'll work through together. I'll send a clear checklist so you know exactly what to gather — nothing technical.
How does pricing work?
Pricing is based on the scope of the build — what type of store, how many products or services, and what tier of output is right for you. We talk through that in a free first conversation and brief, and I'll quote clearly before anything starts. A deposit is only due once you've approved the brief and the price — nothing is owed before that. No surprises, no risk on your side until you've seen exactly what you're paying for.
What if I want changes?
You'll see the store before it goes live and we'll refine it together. A round of revisions is included. Anything beyond the agreed scope is quoted upfront — never a surprise bill.
Who owns the store?
You do, completely. Everything is set up in your own Shopify account, your billing, your domain, your email. I build it for you. It's yours from day one.
What about ongoing costs?
My fee is one-off. You'll have your own Shopify subscription (from around £19/month) and your domain (~£15/year), paid directly by you. I'll advise on the right plan so you're not overpaying. No hidden retainers from me.
Can you help after launch?
Yes. Once your store's live I'm happy to help with updates or further work. Just get in touch and we'll sort it.

Let's build a store you're proud to send people to.

Tell me what you sell and where you're starting from. I'll come back within one working day with the next step. No pressure, no hard sell.
