If any of this sounds familiar

You don't need another tutorial. You need it done.

Building a store properly takes dozens of fiddly decisions and a week of work most people don't have. Here's where it usually goes wrong.

You've started and stalled

The Shopify trial's running, you've picked a theme, and now you're stuck on menus, policies and product pages. Three weeks have gone by.

Your store looks amateur

It works, but it doesn't look trustworthy, and you can feel it costing you sales. People land, hesitate, and leave without buying.

You haven't got the time

You know roughly what's needed, but between work and life there's no realistic chance of you sitting down and building it properly.

You don't trust the £29 crowd

You've seen the bargain-basement builders and you know you'd get a generic, templated store that looks like everyone else's. You want it done right.

What you get

Everything your store needs, handled end to end.

No checklist for you to work through. You send your products and brand, and a complete, ready-to-sell store comes back.

Full store setup

Account configured, plan guidance, store settings done properly from the start.

Domain & email connected

Your custom domain wired up correctly, SSL secure, professional email pointed where it should be.

Professional design

Theme set up, branded colours, logo, fonts and a homepage built to look considered, not templated.

Navigation & menus

Clean menus, dropdowns or mega menus, structured so customers find anything in two clicks.

Product & collection pages

Your products loaded, organised into collections, with descriptions that sell rather than list specs.

UK legal pages

Returns, privacy, shipping and terms, written to reflect UK consumer law, not generic templates.

Payments set up

Card payments, Shop Pay, PayPal and wallets configured so money flows into your UK account.

Launch-ready & tested

SEO basics in place, every link and the checkout tested, the store handed over ready to take orders.

Simple, fixed pricing

One price. No hourly billing. No surprises.

How it works

Four steps. Most of the work is mine.

1

Get in touch

Send the short enquiry below. Tell me what you sell and where you're starting from.

2

Send your bits

I send a simple checklist: logo, products, photos. The clock starts when it's all back.

3

I build it

Your store is built end to end. You see it before anything goes live and we refine it.

4

Launch

Tested, checked, and handed over ready to take its first order. You're live.

Demo builds

Example builds, to show the standard.

These are demo builds, not real shops and not finished client stores. I put them together as examples, so you can see the standard of work and what a finished store can look like: branding, product pages, navigation, UK legal pages and a working checkout. Real client work will join them as it lands.

Ironside Coffee Roasters

A demo speciality coffee store, built from scratch to show the standard: earthy branding, a homepage built to sell, full product pages with tasting notes, roast profiles and grind options, subscription setup for repeat orders, UK-compliant legal pages and a tested checkout. An example of the kind of store I'd build for a coffee brand.

Collection: clean, branded, easy to shop

Ember & Oak

A demo home-fragrance store, built to show the standard: design, branding, product pages, navigation, UK legal pages and a working checkout. An example, not a live shop.

Who builds it

A real person who's actually done it.

I'm not an agency and I'm not the £29-store crowd. I taught myself to build Shopify stores from the ground up by actually doing it, with my own money on the line. Mega menus, policies, product pages, branding, domains, email, the lot.

That means I know where the traps are, the settings everyone forgets, and the small details that make a store look like a real business rather than a hobby. When I build your store, you're getting hard-won experience, not a template I'm filling in for the hundredth time.

Every store I build is one I'd be happy to put my own name to. That's the whole standard.

Questions

The things people usually ask.

Do I need to be technical?
Not at all. That's the whole point of a done-for-you service. You send me your products and brand details, and I handle every technical part. You don't touch the back end unless you want to.
How long does it really take?
A store from scratch is 7 to 10 working days, a redesign is 5. That clock starts from when you've sent me everything I need, not from the day you book. I'll give you a simple checklist up front so there are no hold-ups.
What do you need from me?
Your logo (or a brief to make one), your product information and photos, and a few decisions about look and feel. I send a clear checklist so you know exactly what to gather, nothing technical.
What if I want changes?
You'll see the store before it goes live and we'll refine it together. A round of revisions is included so it's right before launch. Bigger changes beyond the agreed scope are quoted up front, never a surprise.
Who owns the store and accounts?
You do, completely. Everything is set up in your own Shopify account under your billing, your domain, your email. I build it for you. I don't hold it hostage. It's yours from day one.
What about ongoing costs?
My fee is one-off. You'll have your own Shopify subscription (from around £19/month) and your domain (~£15/year), paid directly by you. I'll advise on the right plan so you're not overpaying. No hidden retainers.
Can you help after launch?
Yes. Once your store's live I'm happy to help with updates or further work. Just get in touch and we'll sort it.
Rather do it yourself?

The DIY kit, if a full build isn't for you.

Most people who try to build a Shopify store either give up halfway or end up with something that looks amateur and doesn't sell. This kit fixes that. It's the same process I use to build stores from nothing, written in plain English, no jargon, no fluff. Follow it yourself and build a store you're proud of, or use it to understand exactly what a proper build involves.
